Meet The Team

Rosie JulouRosie Julou, General Manager

Rosie is responsible for managing everything at Exult HQ. She handles all the day-to-day operations, registrations, subscriptions and workshop logistics, as well our marketing and communications with all of you. Her biggest challenge is managing our team of facilitators who are constantly dashing from one city (or country!) to the next.

Before coming to Exult, Rosie spent several years as a coach for Tauranga Riding for Disabled where she was fully immersed in the operations of a busy charity. She has also spent time working in an equine therapy business, a small community school in South Auckland and a government organisation, so she knows the challenges faced by all sorts of organisations. She is described by her friends and colleagues as ‘effervescent’ and loves meeting the fantastic people who really are making a difference in our communities.  Email: rosie@exult.co.nz

Kerri Tilby-Price, Facilitator / Trainer / Consultant

Kerri has worked in and for the community sector for over 20 years and was raised in a large family that ‘lived and breathed’ community. Growing up, Kerri’s parents fostered children, provided emergency shelter for vulnerable women, and regularly mentored young people who needed a helping hand. As a result, she can’t imagine working in any other sector.

Kerri has been involved with all sorts of organisations in all sorts of ways. She has worked as a manager, a volunteer and a consultant, and currently volunteers as a trustee for Good Neighbour Aotearoa Charitable Trust. Her passion lies with grass-roots groups who are committed to making a difference, no matter how hard they have to work to make it happen.

Kerri is described as a dynamic speaker and ‘terrific storyteller’ who engages her audience right from the get-go. Whether she is speaking to 10 people or 100, she has the unique ability to actively include the audience in her presentation. She is a Member of the Fundraising Institute of New Zealand and the New Zealand Association of Training and Development. She is also a MSD Approved Capability Mentor and regularly works with organisations one-on-one to help them to the next level. Email: kerri@exult.co.nz

MeganMegan Thorn, Facilitator / Trainer / Consultant

Megan is a whirlwind of energy and enthusiasm with more than 12 years experience in facilitation, as well as developing, designing and delivering training programmes. She has worked with people in corporate, government and non-profit organisations all over the world, and her passion is working with people who make a real difference in their communities.

An intense curiosity of how people have ideas and how they take them from idea to action, fuels Megan’s special interest in the fields of creativity, innovation, collaborative teamwork and leadership. She is particularly skilled at facilitating problem solving or planning discussions, and knows how to cut through the ‘yeah buts’ that often stop an organisation from moving forward.

In addition to heading up the Upper North Island region for Exult, Megan volunteers with her local branch of Bellyful New Zealand. This on-the-ground volunteering means she knows first-hand the challenges faced by small organisations. Email: megan@exult.co.nz

Carole Parker, Consultant

Carole has worked in the community sector for over 30 years and has an excellent understanding of what makes a good organisation, great. Through various roles in local government, Carole has worked alongside countless organisations providing support from planning to funding, research to dispute resolution, and everything in-between. She is also a long-time volunteer and trustee, and has been actively involved with organisations such as Neighbourhood Support, Council of Social Services, Age Concern and the Youth Arts Trust. She is passionate about supporting groups to reach their potential and has a long list of expertise to share. Email: carole@exult.co.nz

Lisa Hansen, Graphic Designer

Lisa has enjoyed art from the first time she picked up a pencil. She excelled in the arts throughout high school and went on to design for a local publishing company. When she became a Mum, she started her own business as a freelance designer, and from there she took on Tonic Magazine. She has enjoyed being Exult’s Graphic Designer for over 30 issues!

As a parent, Lisa volunteers with her children’s school, helping to support their annual Mower Day Fundraiser. She also supports her daughters with their charity based endeavours through the school. Lisa’s love of animals and nature inspired her to live rurally where she tends to chickens, a vegetable garden and enjoys the use of local native bush and rivers. Email: lisa@exult.co.nz
