Topics covered in the guide included Getting Started, Planning an Event, Sponsorship, Community Funding and Marketing. It also provided details about running specific events such as discos, gala days, food stalls, raffles, tours, auctions and more.

By the end of 2009, 20,000 FREE copies had been distributed to community groups throughout the country.

Cash for Cabbages is an idea that means your organisation receives a certain amount of cash for every cabbage sold over a certain period of time. (Of course, it doesn't have to be cabbages!)
