The Seriously Good Guide to Fundraising was originally produced in 2008 as a soft cover guide which provided practical ideas and advice for community groups wanting to raise funds. Topics covered in the guide included Getting Started, Planning an Event, Sponsorship, Community Funding and Marketing. It also provided details about running specific events such as discos, gala days, food stalls, raffles, tours, auctions and more.

By the end of 2009, 20,000 FREE copies had been distributed to community groups throughout the country.

Club merchandise is a good way to raise funds, particularly, if you brand merchandise that your members actually need. Schools, pre-schools and sports clubs could have their logo printed on bags, hats, drink bottles and T-shirts - if your members need to buy them anyway they might as well be through you.
