The Seriously Good Guide to Fundraising

The Seriously Good Guide to Fundraising

The Seriously Good Guide to Fundraising was originally produced in 2008 as a soft cover guide which provided practical ideas and advice for community groups wanting to raise funds. Topics covered in the guide included Getting Started, Planning an Event, Sponsorship, Community Funding and Marketing. It also provided details about running specific events such as discos, gala days, food stalls, raffles, tours, auctions and more.

By the end of 2009, 20,000 FREE copies had been distributed to community groups throughout the country.

Due to the demand for the information contained in the guide, The Seriously Good Guide to Fundraising is now available for purchase on CD. Click here to find out more.

Eftpos Extra

Having collection boxes on shop counters used to be very effective, however, more and more customers use only EFTPOS for shopping and spare change is harder to come by. Team up with a large retail store and encourage customers to add $1 to every EFTPOS transaction. There are lots of ways this idea can be managed, but a simple way is for the store to treat the transaction as a cash-out - a $1 coin is removed from the register and put into your collection box.

"I totally enjoyed the conference! I haven't been to many, but this was by far the best organised and the best run. It was wonderful to see how passionate all the Exult team members were about the conference topics."

Kelly Batley
