DESCRIPTION:Brought to you by Volunteering Hawkes Bay\nThis workshop is a great introduction to Governance\, and ensures that both new and experienced trustees all have the same understanding of what’s involved. Non-Profit Governance has changed dramatically in the last 10 years\, so even if you’re an experienced Board member\, you’ll find it useful to come along. \nPlease note to get the most out of the workshop\, at least 80% of your board or committee AND the person responsible for the day-to-day running of your organisation must come along (so everyone’s on the same page.) \nYou’ll join 5-6 other community organisations for the workshop\, with each organisation working through the activities and tasks as a team. At no stage will you be expected to share sensitive information with participants from other organisations.
