Upcoming Workshops

Our public workshops run throughout the school term and we plan to work in most regions 3-4 times each year. Currently we hold public workshops in Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Christchurch, Otago and Southland – phew! We also work with local councils, funders, and Volunteer Centres to bring open sessions to other regions (including Australia) from time to time.

Make sure you sign up to receive our newsletter. If you would like to see a workshop in your town or city, email rosie@exult.co.nz and let us know.

Are you looking for ways to diversify your organisation’s income streams, and have considered social enterprise or earned income, but want to know more?
Do you have a potential idea for social enterprise or earned income for your organisation, but are unsure where to start?

Join us for a 3-hour workshop – Getting Started with Social Enterprise

In this workshop you will discover:

  • The difference between social enterprise and earned income. Which would best suit your organisation? And how can you tell?
  • The best way to make decisions around this income stream. What are some of the barriers around this income stream and how can you address them?
  • The steps to developing a successful social enterprise or earned income offering. We look at each step to ensure your organisation is best prepared
  • The practical steps to get started. What are the practical things you need to get in place?
  • The future for your initiative. What do you need to have in place to make it a sustainable, ongoing income stream for your organisation?

You’ll explore how social enterprise and earned income can generate sustainable revenue for your organisation, including their key differences and which one is best for your needs. You’ll learn how to identify opportunities, navigate decision-making and plan effectively.
