Upcoming Workshops

Our public workshops run throughout the school term and we plan to work in most regions 3-4 times each year. Currently we hold public workshops in Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Christchurch, Otago and Southland – phew! We also work with local councils, funders, and Volunteer Centres to bring open sessions to other regions (including Australia) from time to time.

Getting Your Board Onboard: A Practical Guide to Governance – Kāpiti

June 12, 2021 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm

Join us for this 1-day workshop provided by the Capable Sector Project, a collaboration between Volunteer Kāpiti and Kāpiti Impact Trust, supported by Kāpiti Coast District Council (www.ourkapiticommunity.org).

To get the most out of the workshop your GM/CEO/person responsible for the day-to-day running of your organisation AND at least 80% of your board must attend.

Cost: $200 per organisation for Kāpiti Community Organisations. Thanks to a $300 subsidy provided by the Capable Sector Project.
